The traditional cocept of "God" in the Old Testament is very violent, unjust and cruel.

Moses allegedly getting told by "God" to have the man picking up sticks on the sabbath stoned to death tells more about Moses and his culture than anything else.

So, the Bible might have some symbols of wisdom but also a lot of horrible concepts I totally disagree with.

The Roman Catholic Church was a corrupt dominating power institution and I give them no authority to approve any ancient text.

I'm not Christian but I see some text as symbolic metaphor that can be applicable to human nature (so human's ego arrogance to rebuilt stronger is a problem). Saying the "antichrist" is more about 'those who follow their greed and ego'

The Bible was assembled by the Roman Catholic Church in the 5th century. They destroyed texts like the Gospel of Thomas and Mary and only included texts approved by them.
