Mississippi Ranks Low on Animal Protection

Mississippi ranks among the worst states in the country for its animal protection laws, or alternatively, one of the best states to be an animal abuser, according to a new report just released by the Animal Legal Defense Fund. The new report, the only one of its kind in the nation, ranks all fifty states and the District of Columbia and other U.S. territories for the general comprehensiveness.
