COOL. It's interesting how the camera interference is directly from the spark gap. Any thoughts on that? Also that capacitor is really cool.

Yes I belive the "dots" we are seeing from the Spark Gap are from the ultraviolet light wavelength . I have filmed with other shutter settings

with the same results and it seems like... the more gaps ..the more random

the "dots" get into a circle type pattern .

Yes i have noted that in the foot note .

I was testing out some rotory ideas on this set up ..and from another video of "how to build a multi gap static spark gap"

i set it on the same cap and transformer to test it and show how it will be working on a Tesla coil circuit

I am very happy with the Hawg capacitor ! This in my own design and it's being run without an oil layer on top..so.....it has some voltage leaks but it was just a test to get an idea of voltages produced.....success and ....yeah WOW!
