CityLights' Brian Linehan interviews actor Alan Arkin (1985).
In part one of a two-part interview Brian talks with Alan about his character "Reuben Shapiro" in Joshua Then and Now, working with Canadians Norman Jewison, Arthur Hiller, Ted Kotcheff and Walter Huston, buying land in Nova Scotia, and yoga. In part two they discuss fatherhood -- real-life and in the movie, the craft of acting as a "narcotic" for many actors, his love of acting and his love of Canada.

I hope we get part two soon.
