@awnroeg12 Realy? Uki Gatame, how about hiza uki gatame(knee opponent control)? Ura juji jime seems about right, its a cross choke, should include the word hiza, or it just means"controlling uke".
-
are youre thumbs to the same way because i learned to do that ,
-
Not everyone is 200lbs +
The transition from knee on belly @ 0:10 shows that the guy on top, dragged his knee down along the chest trapping the arm and controlling the right shoulder.
Which way are you going to spin? You are being blocked on the right side and if you spin the other way, you are spinning into the choke.
-
@realmasterchief his arm twists.
-
you can alo do this choke without spinning to north south. i personally think going north south is stupid as it gives the guy on his back a chance to spin with you. personally id drop my right forearm straight down his chest and then close my forearms together. going into sidecontrol popping up on my toes and putting all my weight across his neck. no chance of escaping that way, no extra movements
-
left hand thumb would be inside, think of the hands as left-north, right-south
-
It's a choke. When you twist the hands, you bring them closer together and tighter around the carotid arteries in the neck providing blood to the brain.
