  • This guy is a 'guru', and I mean that in a bad way. Like every other business author that tries to become the best 'seller' and not the best 'writer', i.e. Kiyosaki, Kawasaki, Ferriss and all those other liars. People are obsessed about having 'laws' and 'rules' of marketing, but what they still don't want to hear is that the market changes and they don't want to admit that 'laws' are never going to apply for more than 2 years, especially in todays world. Don't buy this guys books.

  • I don't understand how a marketer could ever believe anything Ries writes. His texts lack substance, are complete rewrites of what he wrote since the Battle for the Mind, and have no proof whatsoever, academically or practically. He assumes cause and effects and makes up 'laws' that don't apply very well in todays world (The market is always changing, like he says, they aren't immutable laws, but yet he still preaches them...). If you want to know what I'm ranting about, read 'The Halo Effect'.

  • Al Ries is a greatest guy in marketing, height of knowledge! I interviewed him either. His answers were intelligent and comprehensive

    Thanks for sharing

  • I don't trust this man or understand his agenda.
