Inspiration: It's clear some obviously came from wittyweasley, isn't it? XP Smokeyfizz's Anakin/Padme to this song was also an inspiration.

Story: While on a mission, Zack, an elite SOLDIER, was overwhelmed and nearly killed by the enemy in a small hamlet outside of Midgar. A mysterious angel dragged him away as he was slipping into unconciousness, driving away the last of the attackers.
When he woke up, the angel was there. She was a girl of around seventeen, who smiled, and thanked him warmly for his help. She gave her name as Yuna. "An angel...?" Zack asked, still dazed. He was shocked to see her laugh (yeah, laugh silently... XD) before exclaiming "No!"
Zack revisited the town when not working, just to see Yuna. After three months, he realised; he was in love with her, his own personal angel.
It was Christmas Eve, when the mission came. Yuna and Zack were going to spend christmas together... The following day, Zack was expected to take on Sin, as part of his SOLDIER honour. (Yeah, I'm mixing the worlds, too. =P) Yuna pleaded with him to stay with her, but all he could say was "I can't." He knew desertion in Shin-Ra meant the death penalty, and trying seemed to be all he could do. She echoed him, her voice thick with tears, and guilty, Zack decided to finally tell her how he felt.
"You're perfect for me." He said, then left the house, unwilling to learn the truth about her feelings.
"Please." She whispered in his wake.
That night, in an inn on the other side of Midgar, Zack had a strange dream. He was falling, pain exloding through his chest. He hit the ground hard, in a pool of his own blood, and turned to see... Yuna? She lay nearby, the life fading from her eyes, tears splashing against the ground beneath her. Zack felt himself fade softly away, and slowly slid his eyes shut.
A commotion in the street outside woke him, and he ran outside, to see a huge group of Sin supporters (uh... yeah...) standing outside, ready to tear him limb from limb. He fought, but when only three were left, had no stregnth to stop them, as they shot at him. He cried out, as he smacked into the ground. Funny how much... this seemed... like his dream... Only Yuna was safe. His angel, his purpose, his perfect match. Yuna... was safe. He died happy, knowing that.
Yuna heard the shots, Zack's scream, searching for him in another street. Finding his body, she fell to her knees sobbing. She'd always been shy, slightly reserved... And never told Zack in time. He was perfect to her, too.
Christmas was never a happy occasion for Yuna, ever again. With all the cheer, and presents, and happiness... She would give them all, give the world, all to see Zack again.
ღ iv.
Story base: I tried to use as little other characters as possible, but...
Please pretend Riku's voice is Zack's (I have little to no english Crisis Core clips, soo...) and Aerith's voice is Yuna's. Also... the crying clip, and the "take my hand" line, pretend Tidus is Zack. Ignore the fact some clips are from Drakengard, too... XD I think that's all.
