I am not sure what you are saying. Are you saing Inflation was never in the teens under Reagan? I don't have to research this to remember 18% inflation.

A little in accurate,albeit the Reagan had very little to do with it, there was very low inflation during the Reagan years due to drastic interest raising by then Fed Chairman Paul Volcker. The monetary contaction in turn caused inflation to stabilize and unemployment to spike for three years (1980-1983, that policy started at the end of the Carter administration. Reaganomics is a complete farce though, as the recovery had nothing to do with cutting taxes or deregulation.
