There is a girl in my social studies class named Maria and my teacher always says that he is going to play this song whenever she walks in because she always asks too many question and annoys him! He sings it to her a lot... lol

A capella harmony par excellence (2:57), lead by the inimitable Patricia Neway, as the Mother Superior. Her contrast harmony with Mary Martin on "My Favorite Things" is textbook-perfect, IMHO. You can also hear her definitive "Climb Ev'ry Mountain", that I don't believe anyone has ever touched. Finally, if you listen closely, you'll hear her literally soar over orchestra and chorus, in the final reprise of "climb ev'ry mountain". It's breathtaking!!
