광주민중항쟁은 대한민국의 한사람으로써 자랑스러운 일이다. 난 경기도인이지만 광주에서의 이 운동이 지금의 민주주의가 있도록 했다.

while my dad went to university of gwangju, he participated in this horrifying movement.

from the primary story from dad, a lot of his classmates and professors died, and he was almost beaten to death.

He really doesn't want to talk about it and doesn't want to remember it.

... I hope there'll be no more chaotic happen like this in any other places in this world... It's really sad to look back to what happen in south korea long time ago..every coup de'etat costed blood and it was nothing but the greed of power of those former dictators.. I can't believe that chun do hwan was actually exempted from death sentenced.. n still manage to live peacefully after what he has done to his people in 18th may 1980..

5.18 지도부 중에 한분은 광주 보상금을 받은 다음 "의거월북"하셨습니다. 의거월북하신 5.18 그 주요인물은 윤기권이라는 분이구요. 1991년에 월북하셨네요. 1991년 3월8일자 광주의 일간지들은 [3월4일, 광주 5.18항쟁 부상자인 윤기권(광주 두암동)이 위대한 수령님과 참조국을 찾아 의거 월북했다...] 고 평양방송을 인용하여 보도했습니다. 5.18 지도부와 북한의 연계성을 보여주는 대목인 것 같습니다....참 뭐라고 해야할지...
