How to Apply Carbon Fiber Vinyl (3M DI-NOC) on Simple Interior Parts

Most people lay vinyl over an area, heat with a gun and cut away but I experimented with a different approach. This quick video shows one way to trace and cut your own template for a carbon fiber (or other) vinyl adhesive. Demonstrated on an S2000.

Ummm, better to take off the trim then place wrap on, and wrap the wrap around the edges... or it will peel

wow i dont own an s2000 or have a desire to put carbon fiber vinyl on anything, and to be honest i dont remember how i came across this video but that was really informative and well put together. as stated, real high quality. i wish all diy vids were like this..

@anaureen84 Thanks for the nice comments. There are some pretty detailed videos floating around though. What you're doing may require a heat gun and some advanced skill but it really just comes down to patience with this stuff. Also, there may be a replacement kit available that is pre cut. Feel free to message me to talk more.
