this is why you should teach women/kids with .22 cal first then graduate up to the larger caliber weapons. She is anticipating the shot, you can see her shoulders tense before the shot ... I wish more guys would think before teaching their girls/kids to shoot ...

all novice gun handlers have no idea what recoil feels like. so until they fire their first shot, they will not have a clue and they will not know how adjusted their grip should actually be.

Someone needs to Teach the original Poster How to shoot.. from that distance his group was over 10 inches. With proper training most women shoot very well.. And 90% of the women that take my Concealed carry class shoot much better than he did.

People are too critical...just because she has a vagina doesn't mean she can't shoot a damn .40. That's the first gun I ever shot and have been comfortable with it every shot after the first one. Geez...give the couple a break!

@M0LONLABE i actually started with a .50 cal, then 9mm, .45, and finally a 22lr. I definitely learned allot from that lil 22. plus its a hell of a lot cheaper to shoot.

I taught my wife how to shoot using my Beretta M9 and Glock 21 .45ACP she did a great job. All in the 9 and 10 rings from 25 feet away.

i started my wife out on a bersa .380 and gradually moved her up but it is imperitive that women know how to shoot and defend themselves.

but for this girl to be shooting her first time she did very well... and she's cute.

@M0LONLABE very well said very well, i have a problem with firing because i have started anticipating the shot with my 7.62 target rifle so i'm going back to a 30 yard range with my .22 rifle :)
