Exhaust Leak on the 1987 Chevy

There is a major Exhaust Leak on the Old truck...the problem? A busted exhaust pin on the left side manifold. I have the part, but I need to heat it out of the hole to put the new one in.

The truck sounds like ass and gets louder as you give it gas. I was able to drive it down the highway, eventhough it sounds like a lawnmower. But it did a kickdown, and the truck feels like it has more power than usual.

The speedo and fuel gauge remind me of a chevette. I would love to find a chevette diesel.

I'm getting the exact same kind of sounds from my 1-ton Dodge van but for the life of me I can't find the leak. I think I will need to take it to the muffler shop.

I have a video of what the problem is...but I have to upload the video on YouTube than through the software. When I get a chance I'll put it up. Hopefully it will be fixed Monday morning in the Auto Shop.

it has power now...it's only been like that for 2 days. I took a look and aligned the crossover pipe, and it sounds a little bit better.

Luckily it's not making my MPG's fall. I do smell unburned gas though.

Im haven the same problem on my 97 im gonna replace the manifold flange gasket i can fill the exhaust escaping when i put my hand near it

got the same type of leak in my 250 dose yours sound like an annoying tick at idle?
