I made this robot when I were an undergraduate student at NTU BIME in 2007. All the components of the robot are handiwork :P, the firmware is implemented on the 2 micro-controller SX28 (Parallel), and programming language of the software is C++, the GUI is VCL (BCB6.0).
mount a camera on the robot head, give it some AI and
bring it with two wings
