Since 15 May 2011 Spanish citizens, predominantly but not exclusively the youth, have been staging occupations of public spaces - most notably the Puerta del Sol in central Madrid, in a bid to highlight their plight: Mass unemployment, party political indifference and corruption and to protest against a global economic system which is out of control and condemning ever more people to a life of poverty and economic servititude.

  • Is it possible for young people (who haven't yet worked) to claim jobless benefits in Spain? I've heard that there's a maximum time limit of 1 year when claiming jobless benefits in Spain. Is this correct? How do Spanish youngsters survive when they can't find a job and they cannot claim benefits?

I agree with your comment about living in dark, fascist times. I also share the fear that democracy in endangered, since there are so many signs of authoritarianism on the rise in Europe and US.

  • Control rods are what prevent the nuclear reaction, which takes places inside a nuclear power station, from turning into a chain reaction and causing the reactor to melt and/or explode.

  • dude you really have to fix that beeping :P good vid

  • Inspiring videos , I worked my nuts off for 12 years paid my taxes and national insurance week in week out and then fell on hard times due to loosing my job and the government of this country jacked me off with a measly 2 months JSA and then cut me off completely.

We live in a bubble where we think Nazism ended in 1945 , I believe not . Democracy will be the next thing to go. Unlike those Orange adverts ... the futures bleak the futures black.

Keep up the good work bro.

  • Gracias. Thanks to make that video.

  • @BabyIYours Yes, I entirely agree. It's an absolute bloody disgrace how the the rich and the banks - who are responsible for the financial mess post 2008 - have shoved the costs of the actions onto the backs of the very poorest.

The revolution - although many times prophesized - this time really has begun. And it has a lot further to run yet, I can assure you. I am sure about this because the conditions are riper now than they have ever been in the past - a limit point has been reached.

  • @BullFighter2007 Because you pick on the little guy in the playground and not the guy who will knock you to the ground with a single punch, methinks.
