Relaxer/Texlax part 3!

Hey ladies! I decided to relax my hair and well it turns out I texlaxed it! I found out why my relaxer did not take well1 It was not because of the base, but instead it was because of the henna that I did 3 days before!!! I forgot that sometimes henna will affect the outcome of your relaxer!! Also I had my husband give me a trim, because so many people felt that I needed one and instead he gave me a blunt cut, cutting off like 4 inches!!! So from now I will not be listening to anyone Else's opinion on my hair needing a trim!! I should have listened to my gut and not have gotten a trim, but the damage is done and the tears are shed!!!!

Just keep up your hair regiman. Our hair takes time and love. It has taken me 3 1/2 years to get my hair a little pass APL. And my hair is still growing. I started prepooing, and my hair really started to grow faster. I still love my coconut oil and keep my scalp clean twice a week. Hang in there sista, your hair will reach WL

Aww you look so sad in the last pic. I would trust my hubby to trim mine before anyone else. BUT I would have to guide him the entire way. lol. Your hair looks so much healthier now. I also agree with you about trimming cause someone else thinks that is what you should do. Trim cause its something YOU think you should do.

do you plan to clip your ends? or are you going to wait until it gets longer first? some of my ends are split and i keep tucking them away until it gets longer, then i will get my ends clipped, maybe at the end of the year.

Your hair still looked great but yes, i'd be pissed too!! Thanks to some of your video tips im getting my hair back on track. Now, if i can only get the makeup thing down pack LOL. i dont wear a lot of makeup but every once in a while i try to make up my face. girl, sometimes i look like im going to a 9 to 5 circus gig! LOL.. i'll keep practicing. keep up the good work. love the videos.

Have you decided if you're going to stay tex-laxed or go all the way relaxed? It looks nice on video. Even though your hubby cut off a lot, it still is rather long and I love the evened ends over the v shaped ones! At least now you'll be able to tell when your ends are definitely getting mistreated and start thinning out.
