I honour Christy and Declan for taking my song about political prisoners around the world- this clip from his Glasgow Barrowland performance, 2009. His wild electric version quite different from my all acoustic original.

I see a post up above from one Jack Warshaw dated 23 March 2011.
I'm proud to say I've heard the big man (Christy) singing this both solo + with the great Moving Hearts. I will always maintain this song's sentiments and it's still going on; Syria, North Korea, China to name but just three states. But it's going on nearer home too and we'll sing it so long as it's going on.

I realised he forgot and switched around verses but the audience was so with him it didn't seem to matter in performance. Title and updates on names and places? no problem so long as it helps to get it sung when needed. That's what makes a lasting folksong. "Never Asked for Nothing" on this channel is a song for now.
