Zen Mandolin

Learning to play an instrument is hard enough, doing it without a teacher, or knowing anyone else who plays is near impossable. But I am trying, and that makes me happy. I call it ZEN Mandolin because it relieves my stress, and helps me ignore the negative influeances in my life. I put it here so others know, It's okay to struggle, as long as you learn as you do.

I guess if it makes you happy. I think you should listen to more mandolin music to get a better idea of what good mandolin playing sounds like. but keep it up.

Mandolincafe.com may be able to help you find someone to repair it. Or, hand it on the wall as a momento to days gone by. You can purchase a decent playabot mandoline for a little as $100 new from some music shops.

i use the tef program to show me how to play beginning tunes that they offer. it's a great way to learn stuff.
