  • I remember this promo.

  • A NEW channel/network needs to be invented in order to get gems like these running again.

  • @godgundam10 I don't - they'd run it into the ground like they have all of the other classics, and unlike the USA Network days, no departing contestant tags from Jay Stewart & Charlie Tuna, no contestant or ticket plugs, speed-ups, you name it - GSN has ruined it!

  • I remember all of the game shows that ran on USA at the time including "Scrabble", the "$25,000" and the "$100,000 Pyramids", "Name That Tune", "Press Your Luck", "Hollywood Squares" (John Davidson version) and many more. That brings back memories. I missed them all.

  • @godgundam10 Not if Fremantle distributes the classic 80's game show and maybe Hasbro, the company that made "Scrabble" will license the game. Remember, back in the 80's, Hasbro produced the animated series including "GI Joe", "The Transformers" and "My Little Pony & Friends". And Hasbro will co-distribute the classic 80's game show "Scrabble".

  • The title "Scrabble" with repeats of 1984-1990 version was on USA Network, every Monday-Friday from September 16, 1991 through October 13, 1995.

  • @godgundam10 I Agree 100%!

  • I also hope GSN gets (the original) Sale of the Century [including all of the syndicated episodes] someday as well.

  • @DorvellTStewart yes, Scrabble did air after Press Your Luck from sometime in either '91 or '92 until 1995 when USA stopped carrying game shows. I used to have a whole schedule from 1992 or early '93 on tape before my crazy dad recorded over it. I remember the line-up started w/ Sale of the Century (until 1993 when Talkabout came on the line-up) then Win, Lose or Draw, and then Hollywood Squares, and PYL, Scrabble, and the (New) $25K and Clark $100K Pyramids.

  • i agree cause this game show was the best
