This is probably the best ever version i have ever seen or heard. Fabulous actors and sorry if their accents arn't tip top to some of you, but as an Englishman I rekon they had a pretty good crack at it! Also watch "Ladies who lunch" Ms. Gish is fantastic.

I am not a fan of this version at all. The actress playing Amy is screaming- not singing. And when she is singing, it is all over the place (tone, pitch, musicality, rhythm). Also, her accent or dialect (whatever you want to call it) is very distracting and at some points just annoying. Definitely voted dislike on this.

If you forget that Amy's supposed to be from Manhattan and think of her as coming from a Welsh coal mining town, this interpretation isn't half bad. And it's damn funny too.

She goes from a British accent to bad attempt at Brooklynese to a drab ending in just the first verse. It is a mess. It's hard to believe that she got nominated for a Lawrence Olivier award for this role? To the Brits have any standard for good musical theater?

The soprano is great. It seems a nice production but I think that's because I know the characters. I can't imagine this enticing anyone who hasn't seen the show before.
