Love to see Google come to Nashville that would make my day. But I do understand why companies would not want this, after all CEO are about making profits not making users happy. Its just how capitalism works and as long as they can get away with it they will. This video is old, so did they ever actually build it or not?

@JackJohnson3119 Sorry dude but that posting did not come from me, someone logged as me and sent it. Seems the person could not even spell. Time to change passwords. I have used both services and have had no issues that could not be resolve by a phone call. I can even say that for AT&T.

1st: cable lobiest are scared taht this wil put them in the dich and there rihgt cause they cost for cable IT TO DAMN HIGH epb is offering internet for so cheap 1$ per meg unherd of 2nd when they say it cost to much to put donw fiber there idiots fiber off of one tower cna run for a max out of 15 miles providing everyone in there 15mile area wiht 1 gig +speeds now cable is crap gotta retower every 400 feet or so BRING FIBER TO EVERYONE AND SHUT OUT CABLE it would make the world a better place

Comcast doesn't suck, the service is very functional when properly installed by a properly trained technician, but they treat their contractors like garbage, which is why this contractor is working for EPB this time next week.

This doesn't cost tax payers a dime! If you don't want it, you don't get it! Besides it's funded by a loan that will be repaid with the revenue, NOT tax dollars! EPB doesn't even get tax money anyway. They only make the money people pay in for their electric bills. Besides, who wants Comcast anyway? Their service sucks! You should be glad that you'll have another option...a cheaper and better one at that.
