@brandtattema Thanks, I'd love to try it, but getting a sacbut in America is so difficult (money wise). One of my trips in life is definately going to be to the Netherlands, one to simply buy one, two to take a few lessons Ha! The sound is special though, I find it almost chilling to the skin sometimes (especially with this song choice haha). Beautiful

Beautiful, what kind of horn is that? I'm sure it is a sacbut (not sure how to tell it, correct me if I'm wrong) and is there a model type on that?

hi Mike, that's a bass-sacbut in F, build by the Thein-firm in Bremen, Germany. it's a copy of a 1600 something trombone from Leipzig.
it's an amazing instrument, with a very clear own character :-) it's a fight sometimes, but the sound is so special for me. you should try it as well!
