Bansuri

Just played whatever came from the heart..:)..

This is how i like to play bansuri..it was like spontaneous meditation, only reason i stopped was because this was the longest solo i had ever played, which was making me almost nervous!..

Sorry for the late response...

You can 'tremble' the sound by alternating between blowing a sharper current of breath & then blowing a softer current of breath into the Bansuri . It is done using just your lips.

I believe, it makes the sound jump between a note on two different octaves...

Hi first of all great job!! I have just got my bansuri a week ago and still trying to learn to hold it. Can you please point me to online book from where I can begin learning the basics. I don't have the opportunity to learn from a teacher.
