Isalnd Packet 420 "Pilgram" on the 2010 Harvest Moon Regatta, a 150 nm race from Galveston, TX to Port Aransas, TX. This is the biggest annual Texas race with over 200 boats participating. Video starts with boat prep. Next section is the 5 hour transit from Clear Lake TX down the Houston ship channel to the Gulf of Mexico. Next is the over night race followed by the awards. Wind at the start were around 5 knots which built to 20-25 knots gusting over 30. Apparent wind was 60-55 degress through out the race. Pilgram did it in 23:46, a record for Island Packets in this race.
