@7yrsinHollywood The concept of flat, curved and closed means something slightly different when talking about 3D space. It is not easy to visualise. The universe is flat but expanding in the 3 physical dimensions that we perceive as humans. A flat universe does not imply that it is expanding like a pancake.

I think the universe is flat if everything is static there is no energy simple experiment is a childs spinning top still it has no energy stop pumping the top the toy starts spinning as it get faster and faster and faster when at full speed you pick it up the energy caused by rotation you find you can not hold it it will twist your arms around while you hold it I believe the same principle applies the the solar system the galaicies and the universe no spin = no energy. spin=speed=flat=energy .

It is interesting that this video keeps vaguely hinting at ideas while never discussing them. Such as in hyperbolic space, rhombic dodecahedrons can tessellate the same ways cubes do in flat space. I also thought they might talk about how flat universes can have zero net energy, what with the talk about God and the origin of the universe. Instead they just talked theology with a few inaccurate statements about the expansion of space.

both forever and infinite do not exist, they are made up and both, impossible and imaginary numbers. every system is finite. without finite boundaries and constraints a system is an inoperable puddle of energy without purpose or meaning.
