Da Scribe "My Blood Speaks"

I wrote this poem in one of my many attempts to start a journal. It was not meant to be a poem. I simply was writing a letter to my dad whom, at the time, I hadn't seen for years because....well...listen to the poem. As I wrote this "journal entry" it rhymed line after line because God was moving through me and healing me through my own words. This has become the signature piece that most people have heard me spit in my first years ont he poetry scene.

that testimony was so so deep... I apologize to you and everyone who I influenced, to be like how your dad was. Please forgive me. I saw various parents that forsook their kids for that drug. I'm thankful you have found the Father to the fatherless.

That is an awesome deliverance to the front of god's feet!what a journey you had, you could have gone many other unreal and abstract ways, instead you went to the only way to receive life, it's through christ we are saved brother! thats an awesome poem, with awesome vocabulary, god is good! I did the same thing this year(2008) giving my testimony, but on the streets,i freestyled it. i'm from New zealand, just wanted to say i respect you brother, god bless and keep in gods path!
