Sheila Bridges is "America's best interior designer," a successful author, and former host of the television show Designer Living. Here she is bald and beautiful, speaking out about the condition, alopecia areata, that caused her to lose her hair. http://www.alopeciaworld.net
Thanks Sheila for this - I watched you on TV and was inspired back then and am inspired today - Today I have an appointment to shave my head because of the same condition and as an African American woman I will now feel back in control. Much love, peace, and continued success.

We need more women like Sheila Bridges. I have alopecia universalis and have been encouraging other women to try the bald look. With her visibility, Sheila is doing a lot to banish the stereotype that bald women are ill, or that they are unattractive. She's even more beautiful without hair.

I thought the last 2 comments were very poignant, and also very positive. We all have to cope with difficulties in life, and make the best of what we have. Sheila has a pragmatic perspective.
Thank you for sharing this.
