GALACTIC SUITE space resort. GSSR 3.0

Promotional video of the new concept for the Galactic Suite Spaceresort, the first space hotel. Developed thanks to fruitful discussions with EADS Astrium on space tourism and ATV aspects, the project develops a two phase strategy adapting the European technologies from the Automated Transport Vehicle and the Columbus module, to the first space hotel.

More likely to be launched with Ariane5 or Soyuz ST (not shown on the footage) the first space hotel will be a modular private space station based on ATV technologies, which will provide high level of autonomy to its first module conceived as a free flyer. Later on, up to 3 modules will be assembling to accommodate about 6 passengers at once that will enjoy of the unique experience of microgravity and the amazing views to Earth and to the Universe in the countless stars hotel.
