  • Nothing to do with being a woman, am afraid. And again, nothing to do with being nasty. Was meant to be taken light-heartedly, how many times...honestly. Let's leave it here as it is going nowhere, shall we?

  • I don't like it when Women see fit to judge other Women, especially when the point is moot. She was a great actor lets celebrate that and leave the nasty comments to people who feel comforted by their narrow mindedness.

  • I see absolutely no reason for you to get all up the arse. If you reckon I was a being a bitch intentionally and was getting off on kicking the poor woman's butt - then by all means, tell me off & kick me in the face, however, if you are not that sure - ask for clarification. It's as simple as that and saves us a really unnecessary quibble.

  • I apologise if my comment seemed harsh, I did not mean to be hard on her at all, if anything - it was meant to be taken light-heartedly especially with the 'arghh' bit at the end. At that time I had no idea she died so don't think I was mourning her. As for speech and accents - the fact that you don't like someone's doesn't mean you jump on their looks or acting skills, does it? Someone may not like mine either but I am not going to get all pissy about that, am I?

  • Because you attacked her on her Mannerism. Surely there are enough Men around, willing to do that "free of charge" without you jumping on that awful Band Wagon as well. I stand by my first remark. In one hand you mourn her death and In the other see fit to Judge her. NOT FAIR.

  • @starquant

Why does perfection have anything to do with my opinion? For some of us, she will be the epitome of the perfect woman and actress, and for some - unfortunately not (although yes she did a fantastic job in most of her movies). I'm expressing my own opinion, wow, there is a shocker. And I thought they used to say that opinions are like like a*sehole and everyone's got one.

  • I guess we all can't be perfect like you.

  • Her hair is beautiful.

  • She is British, and she is a beautiful, brilliant actress. She died March 19 of this year, from a head injury. Her husband, Liam Neeson, is devastated by her loss. She also left two young sons, and a loving British family.

  • I know he didn't write the novel, but Pinter's genius for subtext shines through every line of dialogue.
