Yes you spy a 2" lift. They are great off road. No locking diffs and low ratio. You are gay and your girlfiend is my bitch..

@cashw55 - defender is supposed to be better as it's a different vehicle and costs so much more. Don't state the obvious!

I have to say that the freelander is the best off roader for its size, but then again what would you expect from Land Rover? We had one that was good but then we upgraded to a new discovery mainly for it's size. I have to say that the disco will honestly go further than my defender goes (if it had the same tyres and lift). Where the defender comes into its own is in places where rescue isn't possible because of it's simplicity to fix. I've driven my defender 40 miles with a snapped axle.

freelander, though being part of the infamous landrover family, its at the bottom of the list. its the smallest, least expensive model they make. no locking differentials. but i dont have a landrover, so what do i know

i spy a lifted suspension setup? what setup is it and what are they like off road considering the lack of locking diffs and low ratios? i only ask because my girlfriend wants one.

It is! Although to say that the Freelander is mainly designed to be a road going car, when things get muddy it is still very impressive!
