very informative, thank you

Thank you for all of the information on inductions! I have preeclampsia and he told me two weeks ago we'd have to induce at 38 weeks. Well, a week ago, when I went in, he told me that we'd have to induce at 35-36 weeks...which means the week after next, or the following week. Not great news! I wanted to talk to the doctor about methods he uses, during my visit last week, but he had to send me immediately to the hospital for monitoring...my bp was up high. So thanks for the info!

heehee, he won't get anything past you, huh? LOL

Aww...I am glad that I could give you info, so that you could make the decisions for yourself. That is so key to a good labor and delivery in my opinion.

I was lucky to have you as a friend and be informed when I went in to be induced although thank God they did not try to do anything i did not want. It's great your doing these vids!

When I was telling my doctor how I felt about the Cytotec, I mentioned some other procedures/drugs that I had concerns about or wanted specifically to avoid, etc., as well, and do you know WHAT he said to me? "Wow - you're a handful. I've NEVER had a patient mention any of these things." So I have to say - a large % of the not being informed is that it seems women around my area aren't actively TRYING to inform themselves. I NEVER take anything my doctor says at face value - I follow up. LOL
everyone should read Ina Mays:Guide to Childbirth. and everyone should watch The Business of Being Born. im so sick of seeing these girls on youtube who don't even know whats going on. Go to the cdc website and do some research! women can be so lazy(and annoying) seeking only their own comfort and convenience. please read INA MAYS:GUIDE TO CHILDBIRTH and watch THE BUSINESS OF BEING BORN

@widowerson I understand your frustration, all we can do is share our own stories of going through childbirth to encourage other women that it can be done. Blessings.
