Strasbourg-Mulhouse 1992

Laurent Fignon's last stage win in the Tour de France before his retirement in 1993. Say of him what you will, but they don't seem to make them like this anymore.

I think perhaps the only time fignon ever took epo, just to see what it would do. he retired because he said people , who 'had no right to', were riding tour de france mountain stages with him.

Someone please post some clips of his dominant 84 TDF victories, especially the mountain stages, and also the Blois-Chaville race when his campag titanium bb snapped as he was going for the win!

I remember watching this stage on Channel 4 when I was a school boy racer. I love seeing all the past masters in the chase group - Lemond, Bugno, Chiapucci, Indurain etc! Defo a blast from the past - thanks for posting!
