I couldn't find this for a while, and it made me sad. I'm glad I've found it again at last.

Incredibly powerful video; the song may be simple, but it fits Ellen quite well. Of course, the absolute best part would have to be the "...I'm somebody." at the very end; you put together two comics that were far apart in time, but not so much in meaning.

The dialogue is hard to read for someone who isn't familiar, but it has a powerful effect. Great job.

It seems like this is just a mashup of pieces from "Sister", "Painted Black", and "Grace's Birthday Party" set to music. It's okay, but it could be better.

First off, I love this song, it's one of my favorites by Avril Lavigne. Second I love EGS, it's one of my new favorite comics. Third, Ellen is one of my favorite characters. So the fact that you combined the three is infinitely awesome. Great job on the video, the timing was excellent as well. :)

The more I watch this, the more I like it. At first, I thought that you did a disservice to your video by not editing out the dialogue from the strip. But, after seeing it over and over, and identifying the different points, I now see that you've brilliantly crafted a story told on three levels: through music, through illustration, and through dialogue.

The most powerful piece, though, is: "We ... haven't been properly introduced ... I'm somebody." That's AWESOME.
