  • Our Lord Jesus Christ, then, was a "democratic socialist"! He kicked the crooked money lenders out of the Temples. He cherished and fostered Community, goodwill and treat all as equals and deserving....

  • A great man who saved Canadians from going bankrupt paying their medical bills. And it costs billions less than the U.S.A. where their morally bankrupt politicians allow 65% of Americans to go Bankrupt. Zero % go bankrupt in Canada cause they can't pay for their kids' operation! God bless him.

  • Without Tommy Douglas, Canadians would be filing for Bankruptcy at the rate of 65%--as Americans are doing! The percentage in CanukLand is 0% Zero%!!!Check the facts and wheep for Americans who have to mortgage their home to pay for their kids' operation...Canada saved billions by its Universal Single Payer Healthcare...thanks to this principled man. Keifer Sutherland's grandfather-

  • @adfly7 Search for Fabian Socialist - that is the kind of dirty Socialist that Tommy Douglas was...

  • Yikes. It's all about Big government and control. Not about freedom, that's for sure

  • A man of integrity who cared about his neighbors (farmers of Saskatchewan) during the dirty 30s and did something practical to help them. He spent the rest of his life making healthcare available to all Canadians no matter how poor. Before he came along people lost all their life's savings when a family member became ill. Voted the Greatest Canadian.
