Yea anything can trigger it. For me it was a Acharya Yogeesh's youtube video back in 2007; I wasn't even looking for anything spiritual. I just clicked on his video because i thought "what a cool looking face" -click. lol Now I'm a vegetarian, got rid of my leather jackets and totally try to apply his teachings in my life.

Everybody has his own level of consciousness, and his own time and speed of learning. Every flower has a different time to blossom. The TRUE SELF, the SOUL, knows what somebody needs to learn. The lower self, the rational mind on Earth mostly has other wishes. But, when you leave the physical body, the soul, the TRUE self, knows what its best and what is the next thing to learn.

@mebeluvined There is no heaven in jainism, you keep on being born on this planet in different lives untill nirvana is reached... you can come back as anything that's why you cannot harm anything, because any plant insect or living creature could have been you in a different lifetime. To break out of this cycle of rebirth one must atain enlightenment or moksha this is a everlasting state of peace that's comparable to what you would call heaven

My doctor is something called a Jain. it is very different than a Christian. I changed to a vegetarian, but he thinks it is not enough. Do I have to be a Jain like he is to go to Heaven when I die. You may not even harm an insect. I mean this. He has a great sense of humor, but Janism is difficult. Ugh, I need help.
