I know! It's like any positive memories she may have had of the show are completely blindsided now by animosity...not that I can blame her, truthfully.

I don't wouldn't take her saying that the Evita obc recording was rushed was a dig at ALW. 6 weeks isn't a lot of time to grow into a role at all. For her last production, Gypsy, it wasn't sure if they would get one, but I'm glad they did. I saw it and she was amazing!

I completely agree with her views on recording cast albums. Too often with many shows (Lloyd Webber in particular), the albums are recorded ASAP so as to be released quite fast, but the performances often suffer because the cast hasn't grown into the roles vocally and emotionally. It's best to wait a while until they're sure of their part before committing it to disc.
