@herrapaj I think he only truely loved clarice in that way, lady murasaki was the first woman he had seen in almost 8 years. And they are both individuals that have been changed by war who have no one but themselves. and she left him. I don't think they really were IN love.

he killed the real monster paul, and is motivate by love to seek justice and protect your honor. he gets lost in his animal impuses sure, But it is the grown lector who uses " rude" as an excuse to enterain his twisted curiousites. He becomes rude and disrespectful to the point that Hopkins makes clarisse sit with another monster like paul.

Sad moment when they knew they love each other but can't have each other. No matter how much you try to cure the person you care and love, they cannot change. I understand how Hannibal is feeling and Lady M. want him to change. It should be a drama horror romance movie. I luv it!!! Sad how Hannibal had to finished.
