@CPLBSS88 having rough carpenter 1058 steel standard Bolt running in the aluminum upper actually causes more wear according to some I have read. The lubricity of the Nib supposedly reduces that wear. I run a Failzero with a small amount of Slip 2000 EWL. Works so well I cannot believe it. Yeah it runs well cleans easy. They work. The FZ bolts are machined and made by AO-Advanced Ordnance and coated by Failzero UCT coatings.

@docholiday82 Wrong. keep it wet and it will run.

@semiautoriflelover Not any, but I still have been using CLP on it.

let me ask, do youy know is it a must to use the FZ hammer? I have a Timney and a RRA 2 stage and just curious?

@OICU81272 You dont have to run it, it will be fine....

so if the BCG is that much harder it really would be wise to just buck up and get the upper coated also? Id think that something that hard incontact with an alum. upper would cause pre mature wear problems...?

@CPLBSS88 I wound up and got the upper also, but the surface is so slick on the carrier that it actually wears less with less lubrication.

Great Vid! I have the Fail Zero and I just gave my opinion about it in a vid. I highly recommend it for any ar15 owner! You would be surprised how many people dont know how to properly lube an Ar15. Fail Zero eliminates the guess work or the grease vs oil argument. I have put my basic kit through the test and it preforms 150% back every time. My AR's run better, smother and are more accurate. I highly recommend!
