I can assure you that the OU's current administration has been successful in creating a giant bubble of fantasy for naive new students. The buffoonish president David Boren promotes the idea that OU is a "premier" university, but it will never be admitted to the prestigious Association of American Universities, to which 7 other Big 12schools belong. OU tuition today is almost 4 times as high as it was when Boren arrived in 1994. Average-income Oklahoma students have to work long hours to attend.
