Greetings to all, thank you for the wonderful things you have shared about Cornell. Our dad was Rufus Thigpen. he believe it or not did not play any instruments, not even sing. One thing he did do was instill in us not to give up on any dream. He was a backlider for most of our lives& did accept Christ before he died. Cornell is a GREAT musician, however He is a called Psalmist searching for the heart of God. Admire the gift but seek the God that gave him the gift. Much love his sister, Sandra

Cornell's my father was a Thigpen who also play the organ and piano smooth. It's must be in the blood line. Nice the meet you!
Trying to locate all my relative's named Thigpen

I had the privilege of hearing Cornell play in person. He is blessed.
Correction: Ed Thigpen was Cornell's uncle not his "Father".
