  • He isn't Jewish, nor does he advocate socialism. Fail.

  • It's very difficult to accept that most people are atheists. That is, they are only religious in name and in a few non-essential, customary ways. Even in the Islamic countries (which are given that moniker in just the same way that the West are the "Christian Nations").

Religion, all religions, at root lead to totalitarianism. It is the extent to which people do not practice them which makes peace.

It's only when this is fully accepted will the more committed lose their power.

  • @shovelcharge Logical analysis my ass! Yaron Brooks is a former IDF intelligence officer and Israeli born. Notice as he melds American and Zionist interests into one. He has openly advocated nuking Islamic countries and is a brave supporter of killing civilains. Anyone notice that Zionists have always controlled ARI? Why is it that everyone from Rand-Peikoff-Brooks-Schwartz(all Jews) are all ardent supporters of Israel, a religious apartheid state. Wake up people, you are being brainwashed.

  • Do you really think any of the communist countries were atheist?

  • Daniel Pipes, a defender of freedom of speech????? Riiiiiight... so pigs fly.

  • Both Daniel Pipes' parents were from assimilated Polish Jewish families that fled from Poland in 1939. The couple met in the United States in 1944 and married two years later. Daniel was their first child.

  • Indeed, the hypocrisy is breathtaken... you wonder if they remotely realise how hypocritical they really are... at least they can sit at the Ayn Rand institute and keep a straight face... Blair couldn't do that when he disclosed the "war on terror" just after 9/11... Blair and Bush just couldn't stop grinning about how they could abuse the memory of such an attack for their own greed.

  • All religions lead to totalitarianism... riiiiight... you've obviously not heard of Communist Albania, North Korea and the Soviet Union then... riiiiight.... time for some history lessons I think.

  • ummm... your argument that religion equals war and atheism equals peace.. doesn't quite sit right with historical evidence.. as we've just come out of a 20th century dominated by war and struggle of Communism versus Western Capitalism... neither power blocks are inherrently peaceful, in fact both were very warmongering... just ask the third world.

In what way was Atheist Russia, Albania, North Korea peaceful??? In what way is the the West peaceful???

  • Ok, I am as objectivist as they come, and I think the ayn rand institute is wrong on the middle east. they forget that america has performed clandestine operations against opposition leaders (see the installation of the shaw of iran by america). These are terrible and indefensible crimes by the US

  • The hypocrisy is breathtaking.
