0:19 - 0:23 : That is the reason why the first two albums are so great. They were playing simple chords and found a compatible melody to that. In their studio recordings they only use (if they even do) just simple amp effects for the guitar (for example the "wah-wah" effect on "waldorfworldwide"). It's just all simple and perfect. Now they got mainstream and stuff and try to match with other mainstream rock musicians, though their music is still good, but not great.
