I should've been more specific in my comment that somehow got so many likes. By US I meant the people that run the country not its population, and for everyone else saying that the US is the first helping out, okay fair enough, maybe after natural disasters, but the US has never cared about political or violent issues around the world, and when they get involved is because of self-interest. You think Afghanistan needed the thousands of deaths that the US has been causing?

I think you are partially right, but saying never is bullshit. The US helps many many people, just look at their REFUGEE program by itself (for example)....I personally volunteer within this sphere, and there is a ton the US does for many people beyond "natural disasters". The Kony 2012 video is completely retarded... Kony has been doing it for 30 years and we only know about it because some wanker (literally) found out about him, and started a trend... It's funny how the US go after Saddam Hussein looking for nukes (aka, stealing oil, raping/killing citizens, looting). Then, they're told to go after Kony. Their response, "meh, no oil. Chicks aren't fit, nothing to loot".
