@warlordky In my opinion Plant has(had) the best "light" voice ever,the golden velvet voice. Coverdale has more bluesy and powerful and also greater range.For example plant could not sing soldier of fortune while david can sing plant's songs, in kinda different way.They are both legends. You seem to be just a loser. Page wouldnt go with him if he was not great!. Coverdale still has it, in 2011 there will be a new Whitesnake album, while plant cant sing like this anymore. Go listen Bieber loser

Def leppard was good, in 1980, 81. Steve Clark was so fucking good. Led Zeppelin is the all mighty though.

@LedLass well I think Whitesnake is better than Led Zeppelin. We all have our different opinions. What I find rather interesting in discussions is when people say "you cant even compare this and that" meaning that one is so horrible compared to another, when they are then in fact comparing by saying that you cant compare. Amusing..

If you are to compare to rock singers, you should compare them at the same age preferably. You cant compare 1993 Coverdale with 1969 Plant, that is unfair to Coverdale. I rather like both Plant and Coverdale, but I prefer Coverdale. Plant has obviously lost lots of his voice a long time ago. For Coverdale to be singing like this in 1993 is really amazing!

@leppardsnake Your comments are so silly I almost didn't even bother to reply. "Leppardsnake"...as in Def Leppard and Whitesnake? Your problem is that your musical palate has been irreparably damaged by listening repetitively to eighties musical mediocrity. You remind me of my husband, who grew up in the eighties. Worst taste in music EVER. BOTH of you need schoolin', and I ain't foolin'...but even HE wouldn't try to compare the mighty Zep with Whitesnake -- let alone their lead singers!

@LedLass bullocks.. you cant compare coverdale with plant when plant is bad, but only in his prime? This is in 1993, plant could never have sung this good in 1993! Coverdale had a more darker bluesier voice in the beginning of the 70's..

1) they were not really a hair band (but I can see why people think that.. look at the pictures :)) but they were great all the time..

If you are to compare them compare them at the same age.. Coverdale'll probably win all the time but especially now
