Khmer Cultural Preservation, Inc. was founded by Cambodian-American volunteers with the endeavor to preserve and promote Cambodian culture, traditions, arts, and heritage. KCP's mission is to host and organize cultural events and traditional activities in honor of the Cambodian people, especially the 40,000 plus residents of New England. We have just finished the festive celebration of Khmer New Year (Bonn Choul Chnam Thmey) on April 16th, 2004, which was greatly enjoyed by thousands.

On Saturday, July 16th, KCP will host the 1st Annual Khmer Cultural Festival, a traditional celebration of Khmer's appreciation of Mother Earth, Water, Nature and Prosperity, at the Heritage State Park-Sampas Pavilion, Lowell, MA from 10am to 8pm. Last year, this Festival brought a flourish of 10,000 plus participants from all over Massachusetts, New England, and other parts of the United States.

We count on community and businesses' supports to fund this significant celebration of the Khmer people. Please consider becoming a Sponsor of the 1st Annual Khmer Cultural Festival and help make this important community celebration possible with your generous contribution and support.

  • WTF? Preserve the Cambodian culture by adapting elements of the US american culture?

  • @NobleKnight7 wasn't it some extreme kind of darwinism that led to this desaster?

  • fuck Cambodians and Vietnamese.

    Wah Ching gang for life!

    you gangsters are weak!

  • Hey guys... Cultural do EVOLVE... Therefore, We should evolve and adapt that what makes us survive!!!!! "Survival of the fittest," Darwin....

  • @hainguyenx The original inhabitants of Southeast Asia were Black negrito tribes and there are a lot of Black Cambodians with curly afro hair. Even in Vietnam a number of us have those genes too. I'm Northern Vietnamese and I feel it strongly too and I identify more with them than the Chinese.

  • @hainguyenx lolz, at least Khmers have culture...greetings from french literature and chinese culture =)

  • Cambodia guys always act black. Why? Your culture is very precious. Greeting from Vietnam.

  • @suryababe Glad to hear, hip hop and rap just sucks, but, if you're interested into REAL music, start listening to heavy metal.

    ~S~

  • I'm saddened by the comments... People come with a message of love and receive hatred. It doesn't matter how they say it or where they live. There is no such thing as superior culture or degenerated race, we're all brothers and sisters. Do you really prefer Pol Pot to this?

  • I understand the comments about "not dressing appropriately," "acting like a ghetto negro," etc. You must understand, again, The tribe of Judah (so-called African-Americans/negroes of America) have also allowed themselves to become an astonishment and degenerates, but like Cambodians, not all of them are like that, either. They are some of the most talented, innovative people in the world. And they are waking up to the fact that they are the lost tribes of Israel!
