For 27 years, the Twins called the Dome "Home Sweet Home". For most of those 27 years, those Twins games were heard on WCCO Radio. As they get set to play their last home opener before Target Field opens in 2010, enjoy some of the great moments and some of the odder moments as heard across the upper midwest on 830 WCCO Radio!

im 35 years old ... grew up in Duluth. Me, my dad and brother listened to almost every game while back-trolling for walleye. My father has been in brodcasting since 1967 all through Minnesota. I beleive when my father tells me that John and Herb were some of MLB's best brodcasters. this brought back so many memories. im crying while watching this.........

I grew up listening to Herb Carneal. Never met him but I always considered him part of the family.

I agree with sethcorn, I miss Gordo and Herb. It's remarkable how much better they are than the current broadcast team. Back before all the games were televised, I depended on those guys. Listen to Gordo and Herb's calls on the Gladden homer, Hrbek Grand Slam, Puckett homer etc. You can tell by the tone of their voice what's happening. "Puckett swings and hits a blast." No offense to the new guys, but there's very little voice inflection. Oh well, thank you Herb and Gordo and CCO'!!

Great vid. I love how during the Puckett home run in game 6 of the 91 series you can hear everyone in the booth cheering. Great moment in Twins history!
