Many of you have wondered what the "cogic" sound is. I think this is a very good explanation

  • @bishopmatheney - We are talking about musical differences, not doctrinal differences.

  • Elder Eddie Howard is my fathers first cousin... He is a beast, but most of all, He is annointed. Never big-headed, or concieted, and always humble... He always rocks Stockton, CA when he comes to visit.

  • Ooh! I had to take my shoes of so I could wiggle my toes! That was so good :)

  • The same cogic is Pentecostal

  • THAT SOUND LIKE A SUNDAY MORNIN SOUND, NOT EVENING OR BIBLE STUDY

  • IT SOUND SOOOOOO GOOD ON THAT DIVERSI

  • @beamn318 Not only is this about music... the teaching of the outward apperance has nothing to do with the differences of COGIC and Pentecostal. That differs church to church.

I myself love the way he was playing. And want to be able to incorporate all the different styles when I play.

  • @bishopmatheney First of all BISHOP, The Church Of God In Christ is PENTECOSTAL!!!!!!!!!!! You need to read your HISTORY about the Pentecostal Church BISHOP!!!!!!!

  • This is a great video post. Mr. Howard explains & plays great!! Now, I must agree that Twinkie Clark had a big part in making this sound popular in church. However, Billy Preston was before Twinkie and she had to learn a lot of this from him. He's on lots of those very old gospel recordings as well as secular for a good reason.

  • @beamn318 amen doc
