I was thinking the same thing MatthewBain, Just because she came out to her friend had nothing to do with the fact that it was a party with other people around. She may in fact have had no problem with it if it were just her, the girl and the girl's Master. But with lots of other people around it was probably slightly embarrassing for her.

Good call Faete, I am glad that you told her straight, like you always do. I think it is important for people to understand that while bdsm is right for some it is not for all and that is ok. That said I think that it is important to take care while playing so as you dont distress others (especially those close to you) and that you are able to understand that there are limits while in public. To the person who sent the message: Someone saying they accept you even though you have certain interests is not the same thing as saying they would like you to come over to their house and engage in those activities with all their other friends around. This was not a case of your friend failing to accept you. It was a case of you failing to consider good etiquette. Had you come out to all the people at the party? How many of them might have disapproved or been offended?
