Ifor James on Holding the Horn & Hand Position

Prof. Dr. Ifor James Explains for beginners about holding the horn comfortably with the correct mouthpipe angle, various ideas about slight alterations to help fit the horn to the player and also importantly about the "correct" hand position in the bell as taught to him by Dennis Brain's father Aubrey Brain.

Again I haven't edited all of the typically Ifor bits out in memory of a great guy.

Very thoughtful and accurate presentation and demonstration. The guy here knows about the horn. Now how to deal with the hand that gets too tense for the fear of slipping off the keys.
