@metalraider6661 ...Understood. I was addressing the hypocrisy of the pretended virtuosity of cops...they are honorable, they don't lie, they are heroes, who only protect the innocent.
Cops do lie; they are encouraged to lie; they do it routinely, both on the street and in the courts under oath (perjury). Yet, they think of themselves as virtuous and heroic...and want people to think of them that way also.
The best advice is not to lie to cops; don't speak to them at all!

@ed2276 you cant lie to a police officer, thats a crime but police can lie to you and its perfectly legal. its an interrogation technique that they use.
